Maldonado Elementary was presented with the Gift of Literacy at the Festival of Books! This $10,000 gift includes a book vending machine and books for our students. This opportunity was made possible by The Reading Pig, Northern Arizona University, El Conquistador Tucson, a Hilton Resort, Tucson Values Teachers, Tucson Optimist Club, and Tucson Appliance Company!

We recognized our students who made tremendous growth on their middle of year iReady score. Way to go Mountain Lions!
